Privacy policy

This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and what we do not do with it. We run a browser ops deck and optional chatter personas; we do not sell your data or your viewers' data.

What we collect

Account: email address you provide at signup or waitlist. We use it to contact you about your batch, billing, or support.
Usage: channel slug you ramp, viewer counts you request, proxy hosts used, and run metadata (start/stop, duration, status). This stays on our servers for debugging and billing.
Chat: only if you enable chatters. We log chatter messages you send through StreamHive so we can tune personas. We do not scrape your viewers' private messages outside our chatters.
Telemetry: page views, clicks on the ops deck, and error logs. Nothing that fingerprints you across sites.

Cookies and storage

We do not run accounts yet, so there is no login session cookie. Your theme preference is kept in your browser's local storage, not in a tracking cookie. No third-party ad cookies.
Ops deck presets are not persisted on our servers yet: what you configure lives in your browser for the session. Clearing site data resets it.

How we use it

To run your sessions, show you Live Viewers from Kick's public API via a reserved proxy, and keep the viewer poll off-thread so the ops deck stays responsive.
To send you one email when your batch opens if you joined the waitlist. No drip sequence unless you opt in.
To improve the chatter model against aggregated, anonymised chat statistics — median length, emote shares, duplicate rates — never verbatim private chat.

Who we share it with

Providers that run our infrastructure (hosting, email delivery). They see only what they need to operate.
Kick, indirectly: every viewer session and chatter message we send is, by definition, sent to Kick's servers. Treat that as public.
We do not sell email addresses or run data, and we do not resell your proxy hosts.

Retention and deletion

We keep run metadata for 30 days for debugging, then aggregate it. Email addresses stay until you ask us to remove them.
Ask us to delete your data on the contact page or by emailing info@streamhive.net — we remove your email within 7 days.

Your choices

You can run viewers without ever enabling chatters.
You can use your own ISP proxy list if you prefer to control the hosts yourself.
You can export or delete your data at any time. Contact us and we will do it.
