Welcome to Streamhive Ltd (“Streamhive”, “the Platform”, “we”, “our”, or “us”).
These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the Streamhive website, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”).
By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By using the Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions, together with any policies referenced herein.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Platform.
If you are under 18, you confirm that you have obtained permission from a parent or legal guardian to use the Platform.
3. User Accounts
Certain features of the Platform require you to create an account.
You agree to:
- Provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information
- Maintain the security and confidentiality of your login credentials
- Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information or misuse the Platform.
4. Platform Purpose
Streamhive is a platform for scheduling, hosting, and attending ticketed live online events.
Streamhive acts as the Merchant of Record for all event ticket sales.
Event hosts provide services to Streamhive under separate contractual arrangements and are not paid directly by attendees through the Platform.
5. Event Listings and Materials
Event hosts may upload content related to their events, including descriptions, images, videos, and promotional materials (“Event Materials”).
By uploading Event Materials, you confirm that:
- You own or have the necessary rights to use and share the materials
- The materials do not infringe any third-party rights or violate applicable laws
You grant Streamhive a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, distribute, and promote Event Materials solely for the operation and marketing of events on the Platform.
6. Live Events
The Platform enables hosts to deliver scheduled live online events.
Hosts are responsible for:
- Delivering events at the scheduled time
- Ensuring event content complies with all applicable laws and regulations
- Conducting events in a professional, lawful, and appropriate manner
Streamhive does not guarantee uninterrupted access to live events and is not responsible for technical issues beyond its reasonable control, including internet outages or third-party service failures.
7. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation
- Upload or distribute unlawful, harmful, misleading, or infringing content
- Harass, threaten, abuse, or exploit other users
- Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the Platform or its systems
- Upload sexually explicit, pornographic, or graphic sexual content
We reserve the right to remove content, restrict access, or suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
8. Payments and Ticketing
All payments made through the Platform are for event tickets.
Key points:
- Payments are processed at checkout using third-party payment providers
- Streamhive is the seller and Merchant of Record
- Event hosts are compensated separately by Streamhive outside of the Platform
Prices may include applicable taxes depending on your location.
9. Refund Policy
Refund eligibility is determined by the refund terms displayed at the time of ticket purchase.
Unless otherwise stated:
- Tickets arenon-refundable
- Missed events or partial attendance do not qualify for refunds
- Refunds are not provided for technical issues outside Streamhive’s reasonable control
Nothing in this section limits any mandatory consumer rights under applicable laws in the UK, EU, Canada, or the United States.
10. Event Cancellation or Changes
Streamhive reserves the right to:
- Cancel, postpone, or reschedule events where reasonably necessary
- Issue refunds where required by law or platform policy
Event details may change, and users are responsible for reviewing event information prior to purchase.
11. Privacy
Your use of the Platform is governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, store, and protect personal data in compliance with applicable data protection laws, including the UK GDPR, EU GDPR, and relevant North American privacy regulations.
12. Limitation of Liability
The Platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Streamhive shall not be liable for:
- Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
- Event quality, content, or host performance
- Technical interruptions, delays, or failures beyond reasonable control
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time if:
- You violate these Terms
- You misuse the Platform
- Suspension or termination is required by law or regulation
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Streamhive, its directors, officers, employees, and affiliates from any claims, losses, liabilities, or expenses arising out of:
- Your use of the Platform
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your event content or conduct
15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of UK, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
If you are a consumer resident in the EU, Canada, or the United States, you may also benefit from mandatory consumer protections under the laws of your country of residence.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
